Educational Programme: Computer Systems and Networks (Master)

Final Grade: 8

Year of Graduation: 2024

The work is devoted to the study of the possibility of stable transmission of graphic data over the low-speed LoRa network in conditions of underdeveloped or absent network infrastructure. The analysis of the subject area is carried out: the common image formats in IoT and the available methods and algorithms for minimizing graphic data and their packaging are considered. A method is proposed for transmitting graphical data over a low-speed communication channel that is resistant to the problem of packet loss during transmission. An experimental stand for conducting research and software components for minimizing graphic data, encoding, packaging and transmission have been developed. The practical significance lies in the ability to transmit graphical data over a low-speed communication channel, ignoring lost packets.
