The work is devoted to the reception of poetry of the 20th-21st centuries in sound reproduction and the problems of the auditory. Among the research materials are Andrei Monastyrsky’s cycle “Elementary Poetry No. 5 “I Hear Sounds”” (1975) and the author’s recording of his reading; archive of the Transponance journal (1979-1987); survey of the "Vozdukh" magazine, 2010, No. 3, 2010, etc. Having analyzed various types of sources, it was revealed how the auditory form of the existence of poetry affects its reception, how readers-listeners and poets realize the acoustic parameter of poetry and how the voice influences not only interpretation of the text, but also on the subjectivity of the author and reader.
