The Usage of Social Networks as a Tool of Interaction between the State and Citizens

Thesis on the topic "The usage of social networks as a tool of interaction between the state and citizens on the example of the Kaliningrad region" is aimed at studying the theoretical foundations of the use of social networks by regional authorities to improve the level and quality of interaction with the citizens. The study conducted a quantitative content analysis of the accounts of government agencies of the Kaliningrad region, based on which a typological sample was conducted. Qualitative content analysis was conducted for the accounts of the most effective government agencies working on social networks, examining the types of content, the content of posts and the topics of publications. According to the results of the study, the gaps of the current system of government agencies working in social networks have been identified, recommendations have been formulated to improve the system of using social networks for interaction between regional authorities and its citizens.
