Superplastic gas forming is one of the technological processes used for manufacturing complex-shaped products from superplastic materials. When designing this technological process, computer modeling is utilized. The constitutive material model of the superplastic material is required to carry out such a computer simulation. The common experimental method for the construction of such models is the uniaxial tensile test of a flat specimen at a constant strain rate. The standard procedure for interpreting the experimental data of such a test does not consider the specificity of the material flow in the sample. This leads to errors in the construction of the model. This paper proposes to use a correction procedure for the construction of the model. This procedure allows one to take into account the heterogeneity of the material flow in the sample. An application was developed to automate the procedure for constructing a constitutive material model based on experimental data using a correction procedure.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

Summaries of all theses must be published and made freely available on the HSE website.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree. After a thesis is published on the HSE website, it obtains the status of an online publication.

Student theses are objects of copyright and their use is subject to limitations in accordance with the Russian Federation’s law on intellectual property.

In the event that a thesis is quoted or otherwise used, reference to the author’s name and the source of quotation is required.
