State Regulation of the Conjuncture of the Russian Market of Power Equipment in the Conditions of Sanctions

Graduate qualification work on the topic “State regulation of sectoral markets under sanctions (by the example of the energy equipment market)” is devoted to the study of the problem of complicating the possibility of importing energy equipment in the Russian Federation with the introduction of sanctions in 2022 and the study of methods of state regulation and support of the market in sanctions conditions. In the course of this work the main tools of state regulation of sectoral markets, foreign experience of state management and support of sectoral markets and economy under sanctions were studied, sanctions restrictions imposed against Russia in 2022 were considered and measures of state support and regulation of the energy equipment market were studied. Based on data from the Federal State Statistics Service, SPARK database, EMISS and customs statistics, author explored the dynamic series of changes in the volume of imports of power equipment, estimated the share of imports in the total volume of equipment and price changes in the power equipment market. Correlation analysis was used to identify the most priority economic instruments of state regulation of the power equipment market. Based on the results of the study, recommendations were formulated to improve the measures of state support of the energy equipment market, the implementation of which will contribute to overcoming the negative consequences of the sanctions imposed against Russia in 2022.
