Modeling attacks on air defense complexes and objects covered by them using aircraft and missiles is an urgent problem for planning military operations in recent decades. Air defense systems are developing and improving, radar stations are increasing the range and accuracy of detection and guidance for anti-aircraft missiles. However, behind all systems there is software that solves, to a large extent, the same mathematical problems. And if the methods of defense against air attacks have not changed in recent decades, then the characteristics of the means of aerospace attack have significantly improved, which radically influenced the scenarios of modern missile and air strikes. The research in this work focuses on analyzing existing methods from a mathematical point of view, finding the most optimal routes for breaking through and suppressing air defense systems, similar to forecasting traffic flows and laying routes, as well as adapting routes according to the specific location of the defense forces.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

Summaries of all theses must be published and made freely available on the HSE website.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree. After a thesis is published on the HSE website, it obtains the status of an online publication.

Student theses are objects of copyright and their use is subject to limitations in accordance with the Russian Federation’s law on intellectual property.
