ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance factors, which are three key criteria for investors to make informed investment decisions. The ESG rating is an important part of modern business as it assesses a company's commitment to environmental, social, and corporate governance aspects, as well as its proactive approach to addressing the most relevant ESG issues. International rating agencies compete in developing the most accurate and accessible platform for ESG ratings. Currently, there are no such platforms in Russia. The project is based on creating the frontend component of such a platform. The ESG assessment will rely on publicly available information, such as company annual reports, websites, and news, as well as expert evaluations of company activities through document analysis and interviews with their managers.
