Increasing the Efficiency of the Supply Activities of a Trading Enterprise

Building a logistics system begins with the supply area, which affects the functioning of subsequent sections of the system. This issue is especially relevant for trade organizations. This type of company needs to understand which nomenclature groups require closer attention and adjustment in the existing principles of their supply to avoid shortages. In this regard, the purpose of this work is to increase the efficiency of measures to supply the company's outlet with the necessary amount of goods by optimizing the supply system. The object of research in the presented work is the activity of a trading enterprise. The subject of the research is to increase the efficiency of the supply system of this enterprise. The first chapter considers the main approaches to the definition of the term "supply logistics", describes the functions and tasks of this area, the stages of organizing supply activities. The theoretical basis of this chapter is the scientific works of V.S. Lukinsky, V.I. Sergeev, V.V. Dybskaya. The second chapter analyzes in more detail the principles of supply of a trading enterprise, describes the features of the activities of companies of this type, as well as tools for optimizing their supply. In the project part of the work, on the example of a trading enterprise, the problems of providing it with finished products for further implementation are considered, an algorithm for organizing supply activities is proposed, taking into account the features of the functioning of the selected company, methods and models from the theory of logistics are applied. To obtain the results, theoretical methods of analysis, classification, generalization, formalization were used in the work, as well as analytical methods were used in the final part of the work: ABC analysis, order management strategies and the task of choosing a logistics intermediary.
