Improving the Efficiency of Transport and Logistics Enterprise

Theme of work: ‘Improving the efficiency of transport and logistics enterprises’. The relevance of the work is the importance of the role of transport and logistics enterprises not only in the world economic system, but also as an important part of logistics knowledge in general. According to the results of the work, the opinion on the importance of small and medium-sized companies in the development, application of logistics knowledge in practice. It is not irrelevant and all-round increase of efficiency of activity of the enterprise, in the course of work it has been defined that many organisations not only for today, but also for all existence of organisations, as the object aggregating business processes, meets all kinds of problems with conducting of activity and information, financial and material flows. The main problem of the research was set the problem of information streams within the organisation, and making recommendations and proposing the introduction of measures for its resolution. The main initiative was chosen to use and implement a system of corporate information systems. As the results of the work were developed schemes of organisation of departments and information streams before/after the introduction of the corporate information system, financial indicators of efficiency increase, the type of reduction of labour costs, reduction of financial losses associated with errors in the conduct of activities. Also the results of reduction of time costs associated with the information processes of interaction of departments between each other were given. Zones of responsibility of employees of departments were reformulated by means of introduction of a unified and centralised information system and also the organisational structure of information flows of the organisation was restructured, with the corporate system as a centre of aggregation, receipt, transfer and storage of information.
