Career Management of Female Employees with Childcare Commitments

The research is focused on the quality of life for female employees who balance work and childcare obligations simultaneously, with an emphasis on those who look after children with special needs. Additionally, it helps to clarify the circumstances of businesses that use initiatives to improve the quality of living for female workers. The study examines the relationship between work-related pressures, family demands, and personal coping mechanisms by drawing on theoretical frameworks such as the work-family enrichment theory and concepts of career adaptability. This study adds to a better understanding of the complexities surrounding the career management of female employees with childcare responsibilities by identifying important obstacles and viable solutions. The intention of this study is to gain a better grasp of the idea of female workers' careers with children and improve conditions in companies for them. A quantitative study is conducted on 175 women as respondents. Firstly, we investigated how supportive work policies positively affects the family of women, and how the level of career adaptability factors affects the quality of life. Secondly, we looked into life circumstances (number of children, diagnosis of children, absence of mental health problems) that could influence the level of happiness. The research questions of our study are: what is the relationship between quality of female employees’ life and their career adaptability? Is there a difference between workers with healthy children and children with special needs?
