Career Values of Generation Z Graduates

Today, more and more representatives of Generation Z are entering the labor market. This study examined the career values of graduates and young professionals, which will allow us to better understand the career preferences of this generation. The main goal of the study is to better understand the career values of modern youth in relation to work. The study also compared graduates of different specialties and identified key differences between management graduates and graduates of other specialties. The study used a structured interview with questions about career values, as well as information about the respondents' education and work experience. During the work, students and graduates of St. Petersburg universities were surveyed. The obtained data were analyzed using statistical methods and ANOVA analysis. The study determined what Generation Z values in the workplace. The study reveals what the biggest career values are for young professionals. The study also shows whether there are significant differences between management graduates and graduates of other disciplines. Based on the results obtained, recommendations were formed that can be used for the development of HR brands of companies. This will allow companies to more effectively build relationships with the new generation of workers and create conditions for their successful development in the work environment. The study also provides the basis for further work in the field of studying the career preferences of young professionals of Generation Z.
