Fine art represents the worldview and self-perception of creators and the societies to which they belong. The art of peoples reflects the space around them, passed through the prism of values, feelings, features of historical development and other unique features of the formation and functioning of the respective cultures. The results of this study, which involves a cross-cultural analysis of images of war in the fine arts of Turkey and Egypt of the 20th century, confirm the uniqueness of the cultural and philosophical perception of military events and, as a consequence, their transmission in works of painting and sculpture by modern Turkish and Egyptian authors.
