This work examines the warehouse systems functioning and different methods oto evaluate it. As warehouses occupy more and more space - literally and figuratively speaking - in logistics systems, there is a question rising about how to properly manage them. Warehouses perform a wide range of functions, and they also tend to become more complex due to the implementation of information technologies. In the process of studying the issue, an analysis of the fundamental literature on warehousing logistics is carried out, as well as an assessment of the effectiveness of a particular warehouse complex.
