Development of an Adaptation Program for New Employees Utilizing Gestalt Approach

Keywords: Employee adaptation, Gestalt approach, adaptation program, new employees. The thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters, and a conclusion. The introduction addresses the relevance of the existing problem of quality adaptation of new employees in organizations, given that the adaptation process is a critical stage in the lifecycle of the working relationship between an employee and the organization. The introduction also outlines the objective of the thesis, the object and subject of the study, its theoretical and practical significance, and the theoretical, methodological, and empirical tasks set forth. The first theoretical chapter includes sections dedicated to the concept and characteristics of adaptation. It examines the objectives, types, and stages of employee adaptation programs in organizations. Additionally, it reviews existing modern methods and evaluations of adaptation programs. The second theoretical chapter focuses on the concepts and principles of the Gestalt approach, as well as the paradigm of the Gestalt approach in working with personnel within organizations. The third chapter describes the conduct of a survey among newly hired employees aimed at identifying problematic areas in adaptation programs, as well as exploring their own feelings during the adaptation process. It details the developed adaptation program using the Gestalt approach and the procedure for conducting an expert evaluation of the developed program. The conclusion summarizes the work done and provides recommendations for further research and testing of the program. The total length of the thesis is 62 pages, including the bibliography and 4 appendices.
