The scholarly paper focuses on an in-depth analysis of optimization methods for director-actor interaction across varying levels of actor training during the creation of film projects. This analysis is illustrated through examples from directing projects such as: "Friend's Service," "Mysterious Nature," and " Why do Pigeons Nod?.". The research aims to enhance directors' professional skills in terms of effective creative collaboration with the cast, which theoretically could lead to improved quality of film and theater productions. The objectives of the research were defined as follows: 1. Examine the theoretical aspects of directorial work with actors based on literary sources and existing practices. 2. Analyze approaches to setting actor-related tasks depending on their training level. 3. Identify and systematize successful methods and techniques for motivating actors. 4. Develop guidelines for directors to optimize interaction with the cast. The study yielded the following conclusions: • Optimal interaction with actors is achieved through an individualized approach, taking into account both professional and psychological aspects of each actor's work. • Techniques and methods used in the direction of projects "Friend's Service" and "Mysterious Nature" proved effective in developing deep and believable characters. • Engaging actors in the creative process increases their motivation and contributes to better role implementation. Based on the findings, the following recommendations were proposed: 1. Develop directors' skills in psychological interaction with actors to more accurately set tasks and effectively manage the acting ensemble. 2. Implement regular feedback practices with actors in direction to adjust and improve their working process. 3. Utilize individual training and masterclasses for actors to enable them to better understand their characters and more profoundly reveal their traits on screen or stage. 4. Organize seminars and training courses for directors to expand their understanding of theories and actor's craft techniques. Consequently, this academic paper contributes significantly to the advancement of cinematography by offering practical solutions for enhancing the effectiveness of directors' professional activities.
