Assessing the Probability of Bankruptcy of Banks

The banking systems are very necessary for all the countries in terms of economic development and stability because it is a keystone of a financial system that is conducive to growth of an economy. How well this system is functional predetermines the condition of the entire national economic system. Hence the issues of bankruptcy and insolvency of commercial banks that are the pillars of any banking system came to fore. Numerous foreign and domestic experts have developed specific models to identify bankruptcy and ensure that commercial banks operate as such. This research consisted of a review of the work of previous models and the question regarding the uniqueness of studying the concept of the «bankruptcy». After carrying out the study the result is a predictive forecast of the Russia commercial bank and the region in which it is situated and also a comparison of the practical application of the methods.
