This paper aims to explore the directorial aspects of work on three film projects: "Heads and Tails", "Misery", and "The Book of Kingdoms". It seeks to analyze both the theoretical underpinnings of the directors' visions for the films and the practical approaches they took to realizing them. Within this framework, important aspects of character conflict are examined, and attempts to convey unique ways of representing this conflict in cinema are discussed.
