The current research aimed to identify personal and socio-psychological factors determining the preference for intercultural conflict resolution strategies among Armenians. The study provides a detailed theoretical review of definitions, predictors, and models of conflict resolution strategies, integrating the analysis with constructs such as perceived cultural distance, ethnic identity, face concern, and basic human values. All necessary measures and statistical procedures for the study's implementation are presented, alongside an overview of the results, their discussion, and conclusions. To achieve the research goal of the study, a survey involving 305 representatives of Armenian culture was conducted. Through statistical analysis, a positive association was found between mutual-face concern and collaborative, compromising conflict management styles. Additionally, it was discovered that other-face concern was positively related to avoiding and accommodating strategies, while self-face concern exhibited a negative association with these two styles. Perceived cultural distance was negatively associated with avoiding and accommodating styles. The study also revealed that achievement value was positively related to competing and avoiding strategies. Finally, ethnic identity, face, and tradition values did not demonstrate any significant association with intercultural conflict management styles.
