This thesis examines the optimisation of business processes at the «ZIGZAG» Sailing Club in St. Petersburg. By carefully studying the internal and external processes of the company and focusing on improving internal employee communication and task allocation management, we have developed a solution that should enable the company to cope with the difficulties encountered. This study proposes to integrate business optimisation practices into an online collaboration software platform. In the literature used, we focused not only on theoretical but also on practical approaches: we considered the theory of business process optimisation and studied methods and tools for implementing new platforms. Based on the analysis of the company and its peculiarities, we found several solutions adapted to the specific needs and characteristics of the company. The result of our work was a detailed description of the process of development and implementation of the most suitable of the identified solutions in the company, including the creation of a task tracker as well as a knowledge base based on the Jira software. Also, when analysing the situation in the company at the initial stage of the study, we identified metrics that helped us to evaluate the effectiveness of the solution we implemented, such as: Employee satisfaction, Percentage of deadlines missed, Time taken to complete a task, Employee workload and Director's awareness of it, and at the end of the study showed that the work we had done was successful.
