Coverage of the Taiwan Issue and XUAR Crisis in the Chinese Mass Media: Main Themes and Narratives

This study analyzes the media strategies and narratives used by Chinese media in relation to two key regional issues: the Taiwan Question and the crisis in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR). In the context of globalization and information openness, the role of the media in shaping public opinion and political discourse is becoming increasingly important. Particular attention is paid to the Chinese media, as they not only reflect the country’s domestic policy, but also its foreign policy strategy. The study is valuable not only because it provides an analysis of specific media strategies and narratives, but also because it is a unique example of the intersection of practical and theoretical work in the fields of international relations and communication studies.
