Within this bachelor's thesis, the effectiveness of current personnel recruitment procedures in the Russian Pharmaceutical Company is analyzed. Through an analysis of the resumes of 100 terminated medical representatives from 2021 to 2023, it was found that the average tenure of medical representatives in this company is less than 1.5 years, with a median value of less than 1 year. Using Kaplan-Meier curves and Cox proportional hazards regression, a significant correlation was discovered: candidates without experience in the pharmaceutical sector tend to work longer than those who have such experience. The study recommends making strategic adjustments to the medical representative recruitment processes, with particular attention to improving communication channels with both candidates and Human Resource personnel. The author developed candidate profiles, proposed the implementation of briefing procedures, and created templates, rules, and interview scripts using the STAR methodology. All these enhancements will help to qualitatively assess both novice and experienced medical representatives, making decisions in favor of candidates capable of working in the company for the longest time and effectively. It is important to note that this study provides valuable information for optimizing personnel recruitment strategies and supporting employees in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as paving the way for further research into factors influencing employee tenure in this specialized field.
