Comparative Analysis of the US and PRC Investment Strategies in Africa

Currently, the goal of the world's leading economies - the United States and China - is to strengthen trade and economic ties with Africa. To achieve this goal, the United States and China are implementing and stimulating investments. The attracted investments contribute to increasing the presence of national companies in the African market, which affects to strengthening trade and economic ties and at the same time has a positive impact on the development of national economies. Meanwhile, the United States and China use various means of implementing and stimulating investments, which forms a unique sovereign investment strategy for each of the countries. The aim of the work is to determine the more effective of the two sovereign investment strategies. The objectives of the study are: to determine the goals and means of the sovereign investment strategies of the United States and the People's Republic of China, to determine the criteria for the effectiveness of the funds of the sovereign investment strategies of the United States and the People's Republic of China, to determine the factors influencing the effectiveness of sovereign investment strategies.
