Effective business communication in today's globalized world demands proficiency in Business English. This work explores the implementation of Task-Based Learning, the Lexical Approach and the Grammar-Translation Method in teaching business English. Specifically, the aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of using these approaches in teaching the course “English for Business Purposes” within the framework of principled eclecticism. Research questions focus on the incorporation of these approaches by instructors and their effectiveness in complementing the course. Through an in-depth theoretical study, evaluation of course materials, interviews with instructors, student surveys, and trial-teaching session, the study assesses the benefits, challenges, and improvements associated with these teaching methods. The findings of this research contribute to both theoretical investigations and practical implementations in teaching Business English, particularly at the B1-B1+ proficiency levels.
