Use of Information Technologies in Logistics

Modern logistics is closely linked to information technology (IT), which optimizes management, planning, and coordination processes within the supply chain. This study focuses on the role of IT in logistics, identifying its impact on the efficiency, accuracy, and flexibility of logistical operations and analyzes the theoretical foundations of logistics, methods of IT implementation in logistical processes, and evaluates their impact on business activities. Using the practical example of the "Tire Plus" auto service center, various methods of process optimization through the implementation of an information system are examined. Analytical methods include theoretical and empirical approaches, as well as the use of diverse information sources. This research not only provides an understanding of the importance of IT in logistics but also offers specific recommendations for optimizing logistical processes based on modern information technologies.
