Application of Public-private Partnership Mechanisms for the Implementation of Projects in Strategic Industries

The dissertation is dedicated to the search for a new approach to the application of public-private partnership mechanisms for implementing in projects of strategic industrial sectors. The possibility and expediency of using PPP mechanisms not only for creating new facilities but also for modernizing existing privately owned production facilities have been analyzed. The topic of the dissertation research is relevant and in demand by both government bodies and representatives of business and financing organizations. Within the framework of the work, practical recommendations for the application of PPP mechanisms for project implementation in strategic industrial sectors have been developed and justified. This will increase investment attractiveness, ensure an inflow of private (banking) investments into the economy, and, as a result, contribute to the development of the economy and the achievement of technological sovereignty for Russia. It is assumed that PPP mechanisms will become a central element of the policy to stimulate investments in strategic industrial sectors of the Russian Federation.
