Structuring of an Investment Project to Create a Power Electronics Production Facility

The present study is devoted to the development of approaches to structuring investment projects for the creation of power electronics production facilities. Within the framework of the work the peculiarities of realization and financing of investment projects in the sphere of industry are analyzed, the main mechanisms and tools of project support are determined. On the example of the project for the creation of power electronics production of JSC "Vector" a detailed analysis of the organizational structure, sources of financing, cash flow forecast is made; the key risks of the project are identified. The scenarios of project realization with application of various mechanisms of financing and support are developed. Proposals to minimize the risks of project participants were formulated, including recommendations on the key terms of the loan transaction. On the basis of the developed approaches the general recommendations on structuring projects in the sphere of industry are defined, including the proposal on minimizing technological and marketing risks, the structure of collateral for attracted debt obligations. The results of the study are of high practical significance and can be implemented both at the level of a specific project and scaled to other investment projects in industry.
