The business world is currently undergoing a number of transformational changes due to the influence of numerous environmental factors. On the one hand, companies are forced to adapt to conditions of uncertainty, increasing restrictions in the sphere of state and international regulation, to maintain market position in a period of increasing competition, but at the same time this process of struggle is accompanied by the flourishing of technological progress, improvement of management approaches and entering a new stage of global business and production activities. Logistics, in turn, is becoming an increasingly critical tool for creating sustainable competitive advantage, and effective logistics management is becoming a kind of “asset” of the organization, allowing to adapt quickly and with minimal losses to any deviations in the functioning of the system. Within the framework of the graduate qualification work were investigated theoretical aspects of logistics science, considered some methods and tools to improve the efficiency of the enterprise, presented in the first two chapters. The third chapter reflects the stages of analysis of logistics and production activities of the company “AGRO.VI.M S.A”, which is one of the largest producers of olive oil in Greece and developed optimization solutions aimed at eliminating the problems faced by the company.
