In the course of the work, studies devoted to the study of the influence of external and internal factors on microenterprises were analyzed. Analysis of the literature allowed us to identify 3 main groups of factors, the influence of which is of interest to researchers around the world. Based on the available data, hypotheses were put forward about the influence of certain factors on the duration of the enterprise’s activity and on the likelihood of its liquidation. Four models were considered, allowing for survival analysis, and based on their results, conclusions were drawn about the rejection or acceptance of the hypotheses. Correlation analysis, survival analysis using Cox proportional hazards and logistic regression models were performed. Such logistic regression specifications as complementary log-log analysis and logistic analysis with random effects are considered. As a result, some of the hypotheses were accepted. The presence of intellectual property, a larger number of employees, and low values of the share of receivables in assets have a positive effect on survival. The amount of annual insurance premiums, the autonomy coefficient, and the sector of business do not have a significant impact on the survival of micro-enterprises in St. Petersburg.
