This study looks into the complex interaction between multilingualism, multiculturalism, and emotional intelligence among offsprings of intercultural families. A total of 202 participants, 100 from intercultural families and 102 from monocultural households, were studied using structural equation modeling (SEM) and correlation analysis. The assessments included self-report questionnaires on language competency, cultural identification, multicultural attitudes, and emotional intelligence. Children from multicultural households had higher levels of empathy, self-awareness, motivation, social skills, and self-regulation than their monocultural peers. The study found a substantial positive association of multiculturalism and multicultural attitudes with emotional intelligence, underlining the importance of healthy intercultural attitudes in improving emotional intelligence. However, there was no significant direct link discovered between multilingualism and emotional intelligence, implying that language proficiency alone is insufficient for developing emotional intelligence. These findings emphasize the significance of cultural integration and positive multicultural engagement in developing emotional intelligence in children from various cultural origins. The study adds to understanding of emotional intelligence development in intercultural circumstances and provides practical insights for educators, psychologists, and policymakers seeking to enhance individuals' cognitive and emotional growth in multicultural environments. Keywords: intercultural families, monocultural families, multilingualism, multiculturalism, multicultural attitudes, emotional intelligence, offsprings
