In recent years, digitalisation has encompassed an increasing number of economic sectors, and they are therefore undergoing a profound transformation, driven by technological advances and the revision of established paradigms. At the forefront of this revolution are education and HR technologies, so-called EdTech and HRTech, respectively. These sectors are particularly active in utilising innovative solutions to improve the quality and accessibility of teaching and learning, human resources management and all processes related to it. Despite the rapid development of markets, significant gaps remain in a specific niche of the education technology market, career guidance. They are especially noticeable in the field of career guidance for middle-aged people. The conducted market analysis confirms the hypothesis about the relevance and expected demand for the project. This paper presents a business plan of a startup in the form of a career track selection marketplace - a platform for expanding opportunities for conscious choice of career direction through career guidance testing based on artificial intelligence for middle-aged people from 22 to 40 years old who want to find a favourite business, and an assessment of its investment opportunities. The paper considers two scenarios of project financing: by own funds and subsequent organic growth of the startup, as well as by own funds and additional attraction of financing from a business angel and an investment fund. In both cases, the project turns out to be investment-attractive, and the outcome of the period under consideration - the sale of the business - is satisfactory for all parties.
