In the dynamic landscape of creative clusters, the effectiveness of models of interaction between residents is a crucial factor determining the success of the cluster. A creative cluster is “a community of creativity-oriented entrepreneurs interacting in a closed territory” (Evans, 2007). Such organizations are referred to as residents. This study will examine six interaction models developed by contemporary researchers, that is, “Collective Market”, “Craftsmen’s Guild”, “Event Activity”, “Puzzle Building”, “Flexible Outstaffing”, and “Pickup Model” (Gordin & Polomarchuk, 2023). Even though they were presented to the public at the V Russian Economic Congress, this theory of these models remains relatively undeveloped. Thus, this study aims to clarify existing interaction models by identifying additional components that will enhance the comprehension of these models. The study will utilize such qualitative methods as analyzing social media, namely, digital footprints left by residents’ audience, and conducting semi-structured interviews among residents and managers of the clusters under consideration. The data collected will allow to identify additional components assigned to existing models of interaction and provide recommendations, which in the future can help managers to make more informed decisions when designing and implementing development strategies for each of the clusters, depending on the context and characteristics of the creative space. Keywords: creative clusters, creative industries, residents, sustainable interaction, resident interaction
