The rationale for the significance of this study is that in a rapidly changing world, enterprises need to adapt quickly in order to remain competitive. For operational adaptation, each enterprise is obliged to develop a development strategy and a detailed action plan. In today's competitive business, optimization of logistics processes plays a key role for success. Improving logistics allows companies to significantly reduce costs, improve customer service and improve overall operational efficiency. The main objective of this study is to find ways to improve the efficiency of logistics systems in modern enterprises. Solving this problem is a critical factor for improving the competitiveness and productivity of organizations. Improving the efficiency of logistics processes helps to reduce the costs and time costs of transporting and storing goods, as well as improves the quality of customer service and the adaptability of the enterprise to market changes. Ultimately, achieving this goal contributes to the sustainable development and successful functioning of companies in an increasingly competitive market. The purpose of this study was to analyze the theoretical foundations of the organization of the logistics system and develop recommendations for improving logistics activities using the example of Unilever Rus LLC in St. Petersburg.
