Educational Programme: Film Production (Master)

Year of Graduation: 2024

In the final qualifying work "Production development of projects under the working names "OOPS", "WORK OF ART" and "IDOL", we considered various aspects of production activities (creative and executive), and also paid special attention to the issue of interaction between the two main creative units, which, according to the authors, are the producer and director of the project. The work has creative format. The authors had the main task – to develop and implement three film projects according to the received terms of reference and within the agreed budget, from the stage of the idea to full readiness for public demonstration of the media product. All three works are made in the genre of comedy, in a modern style and are designed for a modern youth audience. As part of the final qualification work, the creative and executive aspects of the producer's activities were studied in the course of practical activities. Also, different types of interaction between producer and director in different phases of media production were experimentally investigated. The authors have gained successful experience in organizing a creative team, planning the filming process, managing technical issues, financing and actual management of the filming process. Also, as a result of the implementation of this project, valuable practical experience was gained in interacting with various film specialists at all stages of production. The third part of the work is a trailer for the film "Idol", which meets the strictest criteria of relevance, as it is an attractive idea for potential co-production in the field of film production between Russia and China, which, we believe, has special significance and prospects in the cross-Years of Russian culture and of China culture (2024-2025), announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
