Using Artificial Intelligence in Exam Preparation: A Case of C1 Advanced, Paper "Writing"

The dissertation is devoted to the creation of a course aimed at exam preparation of students for the written part of the Cambridge C1 Exam (CAE). The paper explores the use of artificial intelligence in the development of materials and testing of students. The dissertation presents the course outline and the results of the participants in the format of grades received for writing an examination essay. The work also compares the effectiveness of essay assessment carried out by an invited expert and trained artificial intelligence Chat GPT 3.5. This work may be useful to teachers who create their own materials and courses, as well as researchers in the field of machine learning.
