This final qualifying work will be devoted to the peculiarities of the representation of occult practices in modern horror video games. The work examines the images of the occult and its elements in the context of horror video games. We have analyzed the following games: Outlast 2, Forbidden Siren, Outlast 2, Fear & Hunger 2, and identified the features of the representation of occult images in them. We used the following methods: formal analysis, visual analysis and narrative analysis. The work consists of two parts: theoretical (in which we define the concept of the occult and describes the images of the occult in cinema and literature) and empirical (in which we analyze the narratives of games, as well as the visual elements of the game associated with occult practices and, in general, images).
