In 2017 Yandex introduced Alice. It is a virtual voice assistant with plenty of functions and possibilities. Different countries require individual implementations based on language and regional preferences. My team develops music search for Alice for different countries and Kazakhstan in particular. The music play scenario is one of the most important and popular function. It allows to turn on music from Yandex Music on request via a smart speaker or mobile application. Our goal is to be able to find the most relevant resource on Yandex Music to the user's request. This task requires both thorough work with data and training ML models.
