The intensification of globalization processes and population growth are increasing spatial heterogeneity between cities and rural areas, as well as within cities themselves. Much research has been devoted to spatial inequality, but little has been said about how services such as fitness relate to the spatial structure of large cities. The focus is on Russia's largest cities because the most pronounced differences in population distribution tend to be found in developed and densely populated urban systems. In addition, cities with a population of over a million are the largest markets for the fitness industry in Russia. The article analyzes the relationship between the spatial structure of cities, based on data on real estate values, and the structure of the location of fitness centers.
