Designing Texts about Culture in Modern Media (Using the Example of The Blueprint)

This research, rooted in the phenomenological sociology of knowledge, delves into the intricate interplay between digital media and the construction of social reality. Its primary focus is on digital media The Blueprint. The overarching goal is to unravel how cultural texts, disseminated through various media forms, shape and influence our perceptions and understanding of reality. To achieve this, a narrative analysis methodology is employed, complemented by a constructionist approach. This comprehensive approach facilitates thorough scrutiny of articles published by The Blueprint over one year from October 2022 to October 2023. Both journalistic and advertising content are examined, offering a holistic view of the media entity's output. At the heart of this study lies the central research question: how does The Blueprint construct and represent the objective world within its contents? This exploration aims to uncover the mechanisms underlying the designing of social reality as depicted by the media. The study is meticulously organized into two main sections for clarity. The first section establishes the theoretical framework upon which the research is built, laying the groundwork for subsequent analysis. The second section conducts an in-depth examination of selected materials from The Blueprint, guided by the principles outlined in the theoretical framework. The anticipated outcome of this study is a comprehensive reconstruction of The Blueprint's symbolic universe. This will offer unique insights into the complex processes through which subjective meanings are transformed into what is perceived as objective reality. Such findings will make a significant contribution to the field of media studies by elucidating the influential role of small digital media in shaping social reality.
