Year of Graduation: 2024

Digitalization, at the moment, is the main tool of the global economy, which every year penetrates more and more into the everyday life of society. Global trade, first of all, is ensured through transport logistics; accordingly, digital transformation is of high importance in modernizing the entire landscape of this industry. Last mile logistics, when cargo is transported from the port to the warehouse at the final recipient, is a bottleneck and needs to improve the efficiency of all participants in the process, where digital transformation could have the most significant impact. However, in addition to the benefits of implementing digitalization, companies face risks that can lead to disastrous consequences for business activities. The presented research actualizes the topic of risks when introducing digitalization into the operational activities of the seaport terminal complex, modernizing the existing algorithm for introducing digital products with an increased emphasis on the use of risk analysis tools such as the hierarchy analysis method (MAI), Markov risk analysis, and factor analysis. Combining these tools will allow us to evaluate the effectiveness of the digital transformation of the port’s operating activities.
