The study analyzes the influence of a certain number of factors on the expected salary level of a programmer. The purpose of this work is to identify the factors influencing the salary change. The data considered in our work was obtained by parsing the Headhunter job site. There were 1,448 observations, a dependent variable and 3 independent variables, each of which is considered as a possible determinant of wages. In addition, dummy variables for Russian millionaire cities were extracted from the data obtained, and joint effects on the city and the employee's experience were obtained to take into account the geographical aspect. The methods of work are statistical, correlation and regression analyses and verification of models used in our work. After conducting the study, we assume confirmation of the influence of factors such as employee experience, higher education and English language proficiency on salary increases. It is also expected that in different cities, the salary supplement for experience and the initial salary will be different due to the existence of differences in specifics between regions. Our work consists of an introduction, chapter 1, which provides a theoretical justification for the work, chapter 2, which poses the research problem of the work, chapter 3, which describes the research data, as well as the variables under consideration, chapter 4, which reflects the results of regression analysis with their interpretation, conclusions and a list of sources used in compiling the work.
