This study focuses on the transformation of Patriarch's Ponds in Moscow from a cultural and historical space to a pop culture phenomenon. The research problem lies in the diametric opposition of perceptions of Patriarch's Ponds as a cultural and historical space and their transformation into a pop culture phenomenon. On one hand, Patriarch's Ponds are seen as a significant historical site with mystical attributes surrounded by legends, perceived as an important public asset. On the other hand, this space has undergone significant changes, becoming a pop culture object associated with the myth of a luxurious and happy life. The aim of the research is to develop a conceptual framework for analyzing the interaction between culture and space. The results of the study will deepen the understanding of processes occurring in urban spaces and propose a new approach to their study.
