Our thesis «The Philosophy of Love in Albert Cohen's novel «Her Lover» examines the philosophical aspects of love in the novel «Her Lover». The description of love in the novel is inextricably linked with the psychoanalytic concepts introduced by the father of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud. The purpose of this study is to analyze the philosophy of love in A. Cohen's novel «Her Lover». In the course of the work, the main thematic lines, symbolic elements, as well as their influence on the course of the plot and the development of the characters' characters were identified. The novel was also examined from the point of view of the literary tradition, which allowed us to look at how the theme of love was developed in literature before Cohen.
