"Smart City" as a New Stage of Development Russian Science Cities

This thesis is devoted to the study of the "Smart City" concept and its application in the context of the development of science cities in the Russian Federation. The aim of the study is to analyze the opportunities and prospects for the implementation of "Smart City" technologies for the development of the urban environment and infrastructure of science cities. The paper reveals the key principles and technological components of the "Smart City" concept, and examines the experience of implementing this project in Russia. Particular attention is paid to the specifics of science cities as cities that combine research, innovation, and production activities. The analysis of the history, current state, and key problems of the development of science cities in the Russian Federation has been carried out. The main directions for the implementation of "Smart City" technologies in the practice of management and development of science cities have been identified. Recommendations have been developed to improve and increase the efficiency of resource use, develop the innovation ecosystem and human resources of science cities through the implementation of the "Smart City" concept. The research results can be used by state authorities, local governments, as well as scientific and educational organizations in the development and implementation of development programs for science cities based on the "Smart City" concept.
