This master's thesis is devoted to the study of a psychoanalytic view on emotional resilience. The authors propose the hypothesis that emotional resilience develops throughout life and is influenced by psychological characteristics of an individual, as well as his professional and life experience. The hypothesis is examined through a comprehensive theoretical review and an interesting empirical study involving in-depth interviews with aircraft pilots. Various types of emotions and ways of their formation are considered, different approaches to defining emotional resilience are explored, including classical psychoanalytic, post-Bionian, and neuropsychoanalytic views on its formation. In the empirical part, a practical study was conducted using semi-structured in-depth interviews with pilots of air vessels. As a result of psychoanalytic interpretation of the findings, the most significant factors influencing the development of emotional resilience were identified and recommendations for forming and maintaining emotional resilience from a psychoanalytic perspective were developed.
