Abstract The graduate qualification work "Optimizing urban mobility: analysis of 'Mobility as a Service (MaaS)' applications and their impact on transport routes and passenger experience in Moscow" is aimed at investigating the potential of the MaaS concept to solve these problems. The paper consists of five chapters and a conclusion. The first chapter presents a literature review, the second chapter analyzes the current state of the Moscow transport system, the third chapter examines the principles of MaaS application development, and the fifth chapter evaluates the effectiveness of MaaS in Moscow. The main objective of the study is to develop a model for the implementation of MaaS in the Moscow transportation system to improve its efficiency and environmental friendliness. In the course of the work, the key problems of the city's transportation system were identified, international experience was studied, and field research including user surveys and statistical data analysis was conducted. The results of the study confirm that the introduction of MaaS can significantly improve the transportation situation in Moscow, reduce congestion, improve the environmental situation and increase user satisfaction. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of applying the proposed recommendations and models to develop strategies to improve urban mobility. The introduction of MaaS can increase the attractiveness of Moscow for investors and tourists, as well as improve the quality of life of city dwellers through more rational use of transportation resources.
