This study examines the problem of uneven distribution of Moscow's urban service infrastructure within the borders up to 2012. The purpose of the study is to assess the accessibility and diversity of urban services and services in residential areas of Moscow in comparison with the saturated city center, as well as to develop a typology of these territories. The methodology includes the collection and analysis of data from open sources and statistical and spatial analysis to identify typological groups. The result was the identification of three main clusters according to the level of provision of services: low, medium with high variation, and high. These clusters show significant differences in the availability of social infrastructure. These findings can be used to develop strategies for the development of urban infrastructure and improving the quality of life in the central and peripheral areas of Moscow.
