This graduate work is devoted to the study of the impact which the policy of inclusion and diversity has on Russian business companies and HR-specialists' perceptions of older employees and job applicants. In order to achieve the goal of the research, we analyzed the array of the all-Russian survey of company managers and HR-specialists conducted within the framework of the NCMU project “Social Inclusion and Diversity Management in Russian Companies in the Context of Global Challenges (HR Managers' View)” using the tools of descriptive statistics, correlation and regression analysis. The results showed that the attitude of HR-specialists directly towards the elderly depends on the company's position on inclusion and diversity policy, the personal position of HR-specialists themselves towards this policy, as well as the availability of experience in accepting elderly candidates by these specialists. HR-specialists who are familiar with the concept of “inclusion and diversity policy” are less susceptible to stereotypes about older workers.
