The work is devoted to the study of the problems of observing violence in family relations and is determined by the fact that it is in the family that the main features and values of personality are laid, which determine the quality of human life in the future in all aspects of its existence. Prolonged exposure to an unfavorable family environment entails severe psychological consequences for all its members, including children, and not only when they are objects of violence, but also its witnesses, which can lead to the formation of personal deformations and subsequent behavioral deviations. The relationship between parents plays a key role in the formation of children's behavior patterns and the basic principles according to which family life is built. The main consequence of violence or witnessing domestic violence for a child is the loss of a sense of basic security, because it seems to him that adults can always easily deceive.
