The master's thesis is devoted to the study of the implementation of evidence-based mechanisms in social policy in the post-Soviet countries. Based on desk research and expert interviews on the theorisation and practical application of the evidence-based approach in social policy, on the basis of a theoretical framework consisting of the concept of Welfare Mix and theories of rationalisation, the main components of the social science discourse on the possibilities and effects of the application of evidence-based social policy in addressing social problems will be uncovered
