The Role of State media in Russia's Foreign Policy (Using the Example of the IIA «Rossiya Segodnya»)

The rapid development of the information society and information and communication technologies is associated with the emergence of new types of threats to the national security of States. Classical wars have transformed into hybrid ones, and strategic propaganda has become a way of managing societies at the state level. Today, the state media is not only an effective weapon in this war, but also an effective tool for ensuring the national security of the state. The graduation paper presents the results of identifying the role of IIA «Rossiya segodnya» in the implementation of the foreign policy activities of the Russian Federation, using the example of the work of the Sputnik Tajikistan news agency.
